I operate my own business. Am I allowed to come on the show to discuss the services we provide to the community?

We aim to provide a better understanding of available services and to assist with a clearer comprehension of rights and responsibilities.
Why is Dot Humanity offering this show?
As a registered NDIS provider, our goal is to help people with disabilities and their networks better understand their rights and how to fully benefit from their current support services. We believe that by working together as a community and sharing our knowledge, we can enhance the quality of our practices and the services we provide to people with disabilities, their families, and formal networks.
As a family member of a person with a disability, am I able to participate in the show to discuss the challenges we have encountered while navigating the system?
Yes, you are welcome to participate in the show. However, our focus is more on the knowledge and insights you can share, rather than on discussing aspects that might negatively impact an individual or an organisation’s reputation, especially considering they won’t be present to represent their perspective.
Does this show solely focus on the NDIS and its services?
The primary aim of this show is to disseminate knowledge that helps in understanding the person-centred approach, thereby empowering individuals with disabilities and their networks to build capacity and make informed decisions. The show will focus on exploring available support services, including local, community, and mainstream options, as well as providing a better understanding of the NDIS.
